My Review for Book 2

I was such a huge fan of the first book and now after this one, I'm hooked! I loved so much about this sequel, including seeing Ian of course. I am still very heartbroken over Brandy but seeing Ian open up to Alison was great. And I loved our new characters, Theron and Phoebe. Alison is still learning more about who and what she is when another threat relating to the evil Sebastien comes back. Spencer and Katherine, the clan leaders and Ian's parents, ask Alison to go undercover for them. Nikki is still missing and they may have found her but on not so friendly territory. Somehow, they convince Alison's parents to let her go to a ski resort. This is where Theron first comes in. Alison is staying with him. While at first I thought he was a jerk, I warmed up to him and began to like him. Then in the end, I loved him. He's my new bff lumberjack as Alison calls him. And then we meet phoebe who Alison is supposed to befriend so she can spy on the inner workings of the Truss clan. These were Sebastian's people, so she doesn't know who she can trust. And when she finds things, she is in for a lot of shock. When all is said and done, there's some heart break and some betrayals and some great new friendships. It's definitely a whirlwind ride!!

Alison is finally growing to accept that she is not only human any longer. She shouldn't have to give up her humanity to be an Clan member. They all expect that of her. It's a big struggle for her but I think by the end she is figuring some things out. I loved her character growth. I loved seeing her finally work on something with Ian. I am also terribly disappointed in Katherine and Spencer. I expected more. And I now hope that Alison holds up to her standards from this point forward.

We are also learning more about the Plots and plans Sebastian and his crew had. We get to see some of the inner workings and I must say, the bad Guys are blowing my mind. Wow! I know it will be a year before the next book comes out and I'm dying to get my hands on it. I want to know how Alison is going to handle all these new things she has learned. I can't wait to see Alison and her crew again!! 5 PAWS!!!
