My Animals:I would like to explain that I am an animal lover/advocate/saver/sometimes hoarder :) I went to college to become a veterinarian but I decided to get my RVT, this means registered vet tech licence, which means I'm an RN but for animals. I am currently at the same Animal Clinic I've been at for almost 11 years, but I am officially working on opening up my very own doggie/kitty daycare and boarding and grooming place. No worries, it's taking forever to do this, like a year in the making already, and I'll keep you updated on how things are going. .... I sometimes hold animals in higher esteem than people, but that's just me... so here's my babies:
This is Annie. She's a red heeler aka Australian Cattle Dog. She used to be a family member's dog, but that's just a long story and now she's part of the family too :) She's hyper compared to my others, but she is quite entertaining. She's sweet, and she'll sit next to you forever if you'll just pet her. We're not sure of her birthday, but we are approximating she was born in early 2010, which make her 4.5 years.
Gamma is a kinda foster kid. LOL So, she's actually one of my patients, and her owners have a terminal illness, so she is going to live with me until the time comes that they are no longer here and then if need be we will find her a good home. She has a hair cut here, but she's a 9 year old German Shepherd and she is the BEST dog ever. Seriously, she's great, which is why she lives with me :)
