My Review

What a fun coming of age story for a ya fanasty world! It's the start of a trilogy and Princess Amethysta, I called her Am lol, is the leading lady. She's a royal and she wants normalcy but she's got a lot of things to discover on her way to finding herself and her way.  I loved the way the author portrayed this character and her writing style was fantastic!! I loved her world building and the magic she had in it. With some mystery and romance and sadness thrown in to round it off nicely. And it's not all pretty, there's a lot of politics and some not so nice things about the world. I'm really impressed with how well this new author has conceived her first book baby. Lol! With that said, I'm definitely looking forward to book two!! 5 PAWS!

My Review 

I absolutely love when a book surprises me. This is a fantastic ya paranormal meets suspense book. It's unique, seriously Addie's gift is not what your expecting. This is going to make my review hard because I absolutely cannot spoil anything with this one. I mean you already know she has an ability and she's gunna use it to help find a missing kid at her own peril. She's also gunna have a smoking hot guy help her out. Man oh man I loved everything in this one. 

So I normally go into a bit of detail with the characters but again, with the totally cool way the author did you, her characters open up as you read which made the character growth pretty cool as well. And it also means I'm only gunna tell you I loved them, not anything specific though. Lol. Addie has a power. Jake is a cop who tries to protect Addie while getting her to help him find a missing kid. Jake is HAWT!! 

They writing is also unique. I found myself in the almost tripod position reading at one point with my eyes about to bug out. Lol then I was giggling like a school girl when Addie and Jake meet. I totally enjoyed it!! Great suspense and a beautiful blooming relationship with Jake and Addie. Well done!! 5 PAWS!!!

My Review

So everyone knows I'm all about the werewolves in the paranormal and fantasy worlds. I also love fairy tale retellings with a twist! And this is a damn good example of both!! Some may know this author as AM Hudson but she's making a new name for herself and doing an excellent job here. I loved this red riding hood twist.  

So, what if all your life you think you're a wolf shifter. And you prepare for it and all the things that come with it. But then later you find out that's not exactly what you are. And everything you thought you knew turns out to be not so much what you expected or believed. And she's had a rough go of it. She's not in such a good place. She's supposed to marry the alpha- Luther- but she meets Alex and this here is what starts the snow storm of fall outs. Alex is everything right in the world and Luther and his marriage is everything that happens in a culture that shouldn't but does. I am all about team Alex. I loved him and his humor and his smile and his overall everything!! Alex and Red needed each other for a healing to occur. Red got my attention when she met Alex. When he helped her start healing it's like she was a whole new person. It was amazing character growth. I can't say more than this because I loved reading this with a new outlook and spoiling it for you is just mean. 

The writing is fabulous. The world building, phenomenonal and for those of you with less imagination there's some freaking awesome artwork. I mean seriously, I hope Ms Hudson does a take on ALL the fairy tales. This one was magnificent!!! 5 PAWS!!!

My Review

If you look at my blog, you'll see my obsession with this author's dragon series!! But man oh man, did she hook me into a contemp YA romance! I won't even lie, this one is hilarious! I fell in love with Zoe and Grant and I really wanted to hug her brother and I wanted to high five her grandma!! And it's not all light either. There's some seriously awesome depth given to these characters. 

Ok so Zoe just wants her brother to get off her case, so in front of him, she kisses his enemy. And man do they have a moment. And then another and another. But Grant and Zoe have very different outlooks on life. They also want different things. They even hang out with different people. I totally cheered them on!! And I just kept cringing with their crazy! Lol. After rereading the first book in the series, I was totally ready for this one. With Zoe being a head strong, willful, independent girl and Grant being the hot rich guy every girl wants to date, I never know what could happen but I hoped. I also love that Ms C gave Grant some good redeeming qualities lol. Not unlike my favorite character Jaxon, but totally different concept and series here lol! 

Her writing is absolutely flawless as usual and I am alway captivated by her awesome greatness with creating a world I'd actually be ok going back to high school with. It was well played and I loved every minute of it. I had to share the shot gun teasers here and I absolutely think it's a fantastic scene!! I can't wait for book three. I'm (almost) as obsessed with this series and Brynn and friends :) 5 PAWS!!! Thank you Ms C, for being so awesome a writer that you've got me hooked on a genre I didn't like before!!!
