About Tera Shanley:

Tera Shanley

Born and raised in small town Texas, Tera Shanley grew up in books. Her cousin gifted her a signed copy of Beauty by Bill Wallace when she was young and that was it for her. So smitten was she with getting lost in a story, that while other eleven year olds her age were groaning at the accelerated reader program in school, she was racking up the points just for fun. Balancing chronic book-wormyness is her devotion to the outdoors. Hunting, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, camping - her soul is happiest out of doors. And lucky for Tera, her family feels the same. She grew up a wild child helping her grandma ranch cattle, and has a hundred memories out in the wilderness which tend to influence her books.
When she's not eating chocolate, slinging rifles, or soaking up some sun, she's lost in a book, but these days it's more often one she's writing. From historic western romance, to paranormal romance, to apocalyptic (zombie) romance, the genre doesn't matter quite as much to her as the love story.
She currently lives with her husband and two young children, and is owned by two crazy mini-cujos.

My Review

Ok, Let's talk about how much I love this series... A LOT!!! This one is now getting serious. The werewolf world has found out about Morgan, she's the legendary silver wolf. She was attacked and bitten, and turned. So she is still trying to come to terms with being a werewolf now. She married and mated Grey. The have a pack, well, her Grey and Marissa. Lana being her neice/adopoted daughter.   The have a friendship with the other Dallas Pack, who are helping to fight off all the crazies who want to kidnap Morgan and make her their breeder. Yeah it's as bad as it sounds. Grey will do anything to keep Morgan and Lana and Marissa safe. Dean and Rachel, the alphas of the other Dallas pack have also become friends and allies. So with this in mind, they all set off for the yearly meeting summit for all the packs around the country. Yeah sometimes it's good and sometimes it's bad. Some things just won't change.

Morgan and Grey are growing as a couple- FINALLY! Some things will always be a fight, but they get a few moments in between to be a normal couple. Until everything goes to chaos. LOL But when the elders make a statement, because Alexis and her evil self always has to pop up and stir trouble, it puts everyone at risk. Morgan won't lose Lana. Marissa doesn't want to lose either of Grey or Morgan. Rachel and Dean just want stability and to help their pack. This one is like a live wire that just won't quit.

I am actually really glad we got to see other wolf packs in this one. There's some new characters introduced that I know I will like in the future. There's also heartbreak because someone is lost in the chaos. There are rules and interests and suspense along the way we all have to figure out. I am absolutely thrilled with how this series is turning out. And there's something new as well, the vampires have entered the scene. It's about to get more complicated and I can't wait to see where this one will take us. I absolutely need the next book!! :) With that said, YES!!! I love this series and gimme more!!! 5 WOLFY PAWS!!! :) PS I love netgalley so much right now, because I got to read this one early!

Greyson Crawford has been through hell and back for Morgan. And he’d do it again. But until she learns to trust him, and lets him claim her as his own, he can’t fully protect her. My Review

I really do love this series! I am so excited! This is a short story in between books 2 and 3 for us to finally have something good between Morgan and Grey. Morgan and Grey had a total nightmare happening in book two. It broke my heart in many ways. And this one, it's so sweet. With some good werewolf fights, and a unity that's never happened with werewolves before. I cheered alot for this one. :)  But it also tells us that there's something big coming for book three. I can't wait to read it!

This one is all about Morgan and Grey trying to reconnect. After Morgan's kidnapping, she's having trouble, and some PTSD symptoms, which are keeping her a little stand offish. Morgan wants to be with Grey she just has to get past her fears. Grey wants to be patient and wants Morgan to be ok with everything. Ok with herself, him, her life, who she is now, what she will mean to their species, and what's to come. But people now know about Morgan, she's a silver wolf, Alexis, the bad guy from book one, is on a vengeance path, and wants Morgan dead, or not anywhere near Grey's reach. Grey just wants to protect Morgan. Morgan just wants to be normal, or as normal as she can be. And Morgan doesn't want Grey's slow... With all the big bad wolves coming at them from all angles for Morgan, she just wants to be with Grey. Oh and I so need to talk about Marissa. I love her. She was so broken before Grey and Morgan came around and I absolutely love her character. I seriously seriously hope for some excellent goodness for her character somewhere in the future of this series. But I'm so glad Morgan and Grey are getting theirs!

I love the fun that came from the Dallas pack. They were all so willing to help and I cheer for them as well. I hope everything stays good. I like copacetic, but I want more than that from these two packs who have made my heart cheer! I almost panicked, because it's the beginning and the end of this series. I know I just contradicted myself there. But this story is the end of the separation between Grey and Morgan, and them with the Dallas Pack. It's official. There's two Dallas Packs and they are friends and allies. But this is the beginning of their adventure of what's to come. There hasn't been a silver wolf in centuries and this is not going to be an easy ride. This is the happy ending in the middle of the hurricane :) Yep that's what I'm going with LOL I live in South Louisiana and it's hurricane season hahaha I am so pumped to get my hands on Summit of the Wolf! 5 MAGICAL BRANDING PAWS!!!

Black Wolf's Revenge by Tera Shanley Review!

Black Wolf's Revenge (Silver Wolf Clan, #2)
Black Wolf's Revenge
Release Date: February 17, 2015
Publisher: Lyrical Press
ISBN: 1616505435
ISBN139781616505431
Genre: Paranormal Romance

He’ll risk it all to bring her home.

Morgan Carter witnessed her sister’s murder, has been turned into a werewolf and is now raising her young niece. Then her fiance, Greyson Crawford, proves he wants to be with her for the wrong reasons, and she knows her life couldn’t be any stranger. Devastated, she retreats to her cozy house in the city with her sister’s little girl, Lana. There, they’ll have normalcy, and maybe eventually, even happiness.

But Morgan’s the only living silver wolf. Her uniqueness—the ability to produce werewolf offspring—means, without Grey’s protection, she’s unknowingly put herself and Lana in deadly danger. Other werewolves want to claim her for their pack, and she’s the easiest, most tempting prey ever.

When they strike, Grey has to find her and rescue her before it’s too late. Not so simple a task; he has only the uncontrollable beast inside him, Wolf, and an unlikely pack of allies he’s forced to rely on. Can he get to her in time? And if he does, can he convince her he’s there for the right reasons, saving them both?

My Review

After the first book, I KNEW I had to have this one. You see, we meet everyone in book one, and learn a few things to come, but this one upped the stakes when people are starting to find out about Morgan and her being a white wolf. This is a big deal. And then Grey goes and kinda screws things up, because he doesn't know how to say things, and Morgan over reacts a little, but in her situation, I probably would have thrown a little fit as well. LOL Anyways, be prepared because this one is gunna have your jaw dropping a few times :)

So, after Grey tells Morgan he wants her to be his wife, he kinda forgets to say that it's because he loves her, and when he proposes, it's because he wants to keep her safe. Well, what girl wouldn't want to hear the L word with a proposal. Morgan wants love, not just protection, so she tells Grey she needs space. This causes a lot of issues. Grey won't go over to the pack lands because Morgan is there, and Morgan though she misses Grey like something fierce, she's too proud to tell him that so she avoids him. In a way, Morgan took one step forward in growth and two steps back. She is coming to terms with being a wolf, but one little fight with Grey and she's doing things backwards. She tries to act human, which gets her kidnapped. By some bad people. And even more want her, not for good reasons. So, Morgan needs to get her act together, because she's no longer just a human, she's a wolf, a very important one.

Grey and Marissa are becoming friends. No like that, there's no love triangle, but when you really learn Marissa's story, dear goodness it's gunna break your heart. My shattered for her. And I'm so glad Grey is trying to help her. And thank goodness Marissa is there, because without Morgan, I think Grey would have done very stupid, drastic things in his misery. Now, yes, Morgan over reacted, but damn Grey, couldn't you just say "I love you" just once. I wanna slap him for that, then I wanna slap Morgan a little and say, "come on, he's a DUDE- they are just stupid sometimes!"

The plot with the coming out of her shell, Morgan's importance of being a silver wolf, then being kidnapped, kept the pages turning for me. I knew something horrible was coming, but I am seriously needing a shower for her. It's gunna take Morgan some time to get over that trauma. I like the writing style and the story flows easy, so I absolutely cannot wait until the next book. I mean what's a good paranormal romance without a little drama and some bumps along the way. And we are getting to see more of some of the other characters in the pack, and I love the alpha and his wife. I want to hug them!! I'm ready for book three, which I see is also going to come out in the summer this year, so I will try to be patient while I wait! :) LOL 5 WOLFY PAWS!

Though her genres range from Paranormal Romance to Historical Western Romance, there are a few things that stay the same. She’s a sucker for a good love story, for strong (wise-cracking) heroines who offer no apologies, and heroes that give a good chase – because ladies and gents, you know…the chase is half the fun.
Tera currently lives in Texas with her husband and two children and is owned by two crazy mini-cujos. If she’s not licking chocolate or slinging rifles, she’s outside somewhere soaking up the sun with her family and friends.
