How do I start this one? WOW!!! I LOVE it!!! Amazing! This is such an interesting take on the magical world of the Greek gods in modern times. I started with the prequel novellas and I am utterly amazed at how cool this author build this world. And I loved the leading lady in Alessandra. I felt bad for her a lot too.
So Alessandra is special... Stubborn, impulsive, brave, courageous, funny, and down right scary sometimes. She really doesn't know who or what she is, or the power she can control. And it's hard for me to explain her relationship with Adonis, aka mismatch. I absolutely LOVE LOVE him. Seriously. Let me say this.... GARGOYLE!!!!!!!!!! That's my only spoiler because I can't explain things without ruining stuff. I love how she met mismatch the first time, from the novella. I really loved how everything fell into place with everyone from those too. Yeah I'll need to write a review for those soon too.
The writing is flawless and encompassing. It drew me right in from the start. And I'm so ready for more with book two! With some seriously cool heroine moments, some almost teenage turning adult finding yourself moments, and some very suspenseful mystery moments- there's not too many things missing here. And I can't talk about romance because no spoilers. There's something special about this new series and I can't wait for more!! Gimme- hurry!!! 5 PAWS!!!!
