Mia and Viking must pull together to fight off the being that is haunting her. As Mia adjust to the Night World it appears this being might not be working along.
My Review
I really enjoy this author's writing. I read one book by her before, not from this series and I loved it. And while this is the second book of the series, I jumped right in a have fallen in love with this one as well. I absolutely loved Mia and Viking! I also truly like a lot of the secondary characters as well. Learning about all the beings in the Night World. It's pretty cool!
Mia is sweet and hard working and human. But when something tried to invade her dreams she calls her aunt, who's a witch. Now Mia has some sensitivity but never really thought anything major of it. So when she stumbles across Viking, she doesn't understand him or the world he comes from. And yet, she can't help but fall for him. He had to work hard for it though so no bad thoughts on insta lust. Actually it almost killed him to meet her hahahaha and though Viking wants to protect Mia at all costs, he knows she needs her own pace and independence.
Viking is... Well a Viking. He acts like one, thinks like one. Mia blows his mind. And he doesn't like coffee!! But he's sweet and kind and he definitely does his job very well. And boy he's old fashioned, but when he throws caution to the wind, he's a sexy piece!! I loved his relationship with Gwen, and there's a big twist in the area. I'm learning what everyone is and how they all work in this world that was created!
I loved the set up for world building. Each character and supe has special talents and rights and groups. And yet they live with humans without eating them lol! The bad guy is freaking creepy, seriously! The story line kept me flipping pages and I think I seriously almost cried at the end because I wanted more. I still do, so I'll be stalking for the next book!! I can't wait :) 5 MAGICAL PAWS!

Hello Seattle
Greeting, I am Gretchen S.B. the author of Viking Sensitivity, the latest book in my paranormal romance Night World series. The book takes place in the greater Seattle region. I would like to take this opportunity to share with you some of the places mentioned in the book.
⦁ Gene Coulon Memorial Beach Park.
The heroine of the book, Mia mentions Gene Coulon park as being close to where she lives as well as dreams of visiting the park.
In the real world if you ever have a chance to visit the park, you should. There is a trail along the water as well as several docks. It is a total of 57 acres of park. There is an Ivar's and a Kidd Valley on site (I mention them because they are tasty). The scenery is amazing. It is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been at dusk. There is fishing, a swimming area and a mile and a half walking path.
⦁ Theaters With Food
There are two mentioned in the book, though not by name. The theater that is 21+ that Viking mentions first is the Cinebarre (in both Mountlake Terrace and Issaquah Washington). Yes, you read that right, the theater is 21+ only. They serve you your food and drink in the theater. The Hubster and I used to live near on of these are to was our go to date night spot. The IPic is the theater Viking mentions taking Mia to at the end of the book (Redmond, WA). This theater has leather chairs and is fancier all around, but it is all ages so you just weight your pros and cons. Both theaters are fun and affordable, I recommend them to anyone looking for a twist on the classic dinner and a movie date.
⦁ Dick's Drive-In
Mentioned in the book as to where some of the possessed Sensitives are when the Warriors start hunting them down.
Dick's is a delicious local icon that has been around since the 1950s. We don't just love it because we immaturely giggle at the name, I promise. There are several locations smattered around Seattle. They are tasty, inexpensive, and treat their employees well. Even if you are just visiting this is a must eat.
There are plenty of great places in the Seattle area. These are just some mentioned in the book. What Seattle area spots are you a fan of?
Happy Reading,
Gretchen
