A paranormal category romance from Entangled's Covet imprint...

This lone wolf falls hard...for his enemy.

Unmated werewolves don't normally live past three hundred years old...and billionaire Jack MacGrath is cutting it close. Sure, he has almost everything-the respect of his peers, a mansion in San Francisco, a private jet, and fast cars. But without a mate, Jack's in trouble. Then he sees her. Gorgeous, proud...and his enemy.

Isabelle Connelly is good at hiding things from her father. Like her success as a painter, or the incredibly intense attraction she has to Jack MacGrath. After all, she's royalty and falling for anyone lesser-to say nothing of a rival pack-would be, er, unseemly. Now she must choose between her duty to her family and her pack...or her perfect fated mate.

My Review

Well, I haven't read the first book, or this author, but I will now. I loved this paranormal romance. It was so cute and sweet. And somewhat funny as well! It's well written, quick paced, and I found myself not able to put it down. So with that, Let me tell you about the goodies!

Isabelle is going to be the alpha of her pack. She's over the big pond in Ireland, and she follows everything her daddy- the alpha- wants, except for her painting. She loves it so much. But she has to hide her love for it because he daddy doesn't want her to do it. She needs to concentrate on more important things, like her becoming alpha in his place. But when he falls sick and things are getting serious, Isabelle starts searching for every painting she's ever sold because she wants to give them to her father as his last gift. So, on her search, she meets Jack. He out bids her for her own painting. But she has no idea that he has over half of them.

Jack has a connection with the paintings. He feels when he looks at them. And he's dying, because he's spent centuries with no mate for his wolf.  And when he meets the painter in person, though he has no idea who she is, she uses a pen name, he knows she's his mate. But she can't be, her father won't allow, over a century old grudge. Even if it means giving his daughter a shorter life. Yeah it's complicated. But Jack won't go down without fighting for Isabelle. I thought Isabelle and Jack were perfect for each other. I loved them. And I loved that they fought half the time. It was sweet and funny and sometimes heart breaking.  And neither of them know each other secrets. Jack's serious contributions to charities, Isabelle is really the painter.

I really really liked this one, and I will now go backwards to read book one. The writing was fantastic. The romance was great. The suspense and mystery surrounding the two characters kept the pages really turning. I definitely look forward to seeing more of these characters and new ones to come in the future!! 5 WOLFY PAWS!!!
