What starts out as an intriguing way to pass the time becomes an obsession of sorts as Jackson bonds with the spirit Mille, an agonized soul who’s seeking closure and true love at a deadly price. This jealous spirit will stop at nothing to see that Kristen is no longer a threat in her manipulative plan.
Add to the plot a beautiful, mysterious stranger named Emily, who captures Jackson’s heart but leaves him wanting more. Jackson’s got his hands full of women with issues. Will Mille find that true love is more than meets the eye or is she destined to spend eternity trapped in a house filled with heartache?

"Do you truly believe in ghosts? Do you think it's possible that Millie's is haunted?" Jackson couldn't shake the vision in the window, but his stubborn head told him there were no such things as ghosts.
"Ooh, yes, I do, and how cool would it be if Millie's was haunted?" Kristen's eyes glazed over.
"Well, that all depends on the spirit in question. It could be cool or it could be terrifying," Jackson added. Did he just admit to being scared?
"That's kind of a sexy, a big guy like you admitting to fear," Kristen chuckled.

Internal strength and perseverance must have been by his side, for each time his dark thoughts took over, a stronger presence took hold of him. Fear had gripped him many times in his past, but what worried him most, what scared the heck out of him, was the fear that he would forget her face, her warm smile, the mischief in her sparkling eyes, the sound of her voice. It had been a grueling decision to cut Morgan off, but it was made and that was final. He wouldn't put her through the burden of caring for him, no way.
