The Alpha's Temporary Mate by Victoria Davies Review!

Fated Match has spent centuries pairing supernatural mates together. Witch and matchmaker, Chloe Donovan, takes pride in helping her clients find their happy endings. But when werewolf alpha and millionaire playboy Kieran Clearwater stalks into her office, she may have finally met the one man she can’t help.
Kieran has no intention of finding his mate. Love is a weakness he can't afford. But with his pack growing more concerned over his single status he, needs to assure them all is well. What better way to do so than to hire a fake girlfriend he can parade around at the annual pack retreat?
Chloe is coerced into becoming the wolf’s temporary mate, but she’s determined to keep their agreement professional. But her seductive partner in crime has other ideas, and his considerable charm makes it difficult for her to keep her eye on the prize. While these two burn hot when they’re together, behind-the-scenes politics work to rip them apart.

My Review

Oh my goodness, I loved this one. It's both heartwarming and yet still full of humor and enough drama to keep you glued to the pages. It started out with a hilarious moment and ended with the biggest smile on my face. Though I almost cried for a minute. LOL Seriously, I am totally going to recommend this one to anyone who enjoys a paranormal romance of any kind, because it was just so well done.

So with Chloe, she is a witch without a coven. She was abandoned and struggled to survive. She taught herself everything, she had to. And then she went to work for Fated Match. That's the closest thing she has to family, though it's not the same. And when her boss offers her a deal she dreams of to be the Alpha's fake girlfriend for a while, she has her reserves but she does it. She's really funny, she's strong, she's brave, and she's kind hearted. She knows so many things are going to hurt her, yet she's gunna do it to help someone out. I think that quality is what had Kieran falling for her before he realized it. He's selfish and doesn't care, and she cares in abundance. I loved how she kept trying so hard to keep Kieran at arm's length but even I couldn't help but swoon at him. And I totally wanted to high five her with the dress thing. Just because he bough a beautiful dress doesn't mean she has to wear it. LOL

Kieran is the bad boy every woman wants to fix. LOL He's absolutely gorgeous, he's rich, he's powerful, he's a good alpha to his pack, and I mean come on, he's just swoonworthy. But he's broken. His ex broke him, and did a really good job of it, so he wants no commitments of any sort. He's lucky he has good friends since he's such a commitment phobe. And yet, he plays soccer with the younger pack members, and he helps out at a mixer for Chloe's work, he's not a bad guy, just a heart broken guy. And I am so over the moon that Chloe did so much to put him back together. I loved the tea cabinet, and I especially loved that he became a gentlemen when he needed to, as alcohol makes us all do stupid things. I loved their relationship blooming and how it took both of them with a serious threat over their heads to admit it.

I loved the writing and the story line. It was so sweet and though I had some moments I wanted to slap them both for the stubbornness, I was cheering for them the whole time. I can't wait to see where this author is going to take the fated match series from her. I'm definitely a fan! 5 WOLFY PAWS!!!

About the author:

Victoria Davies’s passion for writing started young. Luckily she had a family who encouraged believing in magic and embracing imagination. From stories quickly scribbled in diaries, her love of storytelling developed. Since then her characters may have evolved and her plots may have grown decidedly more steamy but she never lost her love of the written word. Writing is not only a way to silence the wonderful voices in her head, but it also allows her to share her passions with her readers.

Currently she writes from Toronto, Canada. While she has a healthy love for the unknown, this corner of the world will always be her home.
