Luminis Thoughts by Cara Bertrand!

My Review

This is the first book I read by this author and as the start of a series it's pretty great!! With magic, special abilities, schools for these, and a little prophecy type situation going on, this was intriguing and fun throughout the whole thing. But the writing is fantastic and made it so much more than a YA paranornal with a cliched plot line. I really enjoyed this one!! I loved her character development and the feel her narrator had and the actual lines the story followed. I also loved the plot twists and unpredictability because I was wrong in every guess I made. So much for cliched again right!

The characters...Lexy is a great leading lady. She changes so much and so well that you can't help but love her. Her roommate Amy was even awesome even if she was only around shortly. And the hot guy, yeah he's a keeper lol they kept me on the edge of my seat in suspense and wanting romance and almost not having it. And the drama and small humors. It was great!! So with that said I'm dying for book two! It's gunna be great! 5 PAWS!!

Book 1: Lost in Thought
