My Review

This is a sweet and fun paranormal YA read. I loved the thought of how the reapers worked in this one, and I know that it's going to be an adventure for this one. I won't like, this one is heart breaking, and sometimes I just wanted to hug myself and cry. Poor Leila. She started out as a princess who just wanted some normalcy and romance, when a slightly tyrant father, but a wonderful series. And then something horrible happens, and she's given a choice, become a reaper, or be gone for good. She chooses reaper.

Laney, she struggles with being a reaper. She thinks that she can be alive, but not take souls. She's thinking she can get away with it, but everything has consequences, and when she refused to take a soul, she causes something that's pretty horrible. But then she learns from her mistake and and tries to make up for them. She also struggles really hard with letting go of her past, her sister, and wanting to catch her murdered. And when she does get to see her sister it's not such a good thing.

The plot is more sweet than anything, but it's an adventure and it's a great story about chosing how you want to live your life. It's really a fun story and I really enjoyed it. I hope there's more to come and I look forward to seeing how things may turn out with Wynter, and her new reaper friends. And of course her sister Mara. I was not disappointed and I can't wait for more. 4.5 PAWS!!
